Projects Impact Evaluation on

1.Project Name : Mid- term Evaluation of the project on “Building Gender Equity
Through the Social, Political and Economic Empowerment from an Eco Feminist
Perspective” of Trivandrum Social Service Society (TSSS)
Year : May, 2019
Location : Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India
Client : Basque Agency for Development Cooperation
Main project features: It was a participatory mid term evaluation of the project
activities of the organization.
Activities performed : Preparation of evaluation design and tools, review of
records and reports , data collection from secondary sources, data generation from
primary sources through sample survey, semi- structured dialogue, focus group
discussions, field visits and observations. It was followed by compilation and analysis of
data, preparation of draft report, sharing the outcome with various stakeholders,
finalization of the report and submission of the report to the concerned organization.

2.Project Name : Social Audit of the Activities of Fishermen Welfare Society ,
Kollam
Year : January, 2019
Location : Kollam, Kerala , India
Client : Fishermen Welfare Society, Kollam
Main project Features : Facilitating and conducting of social audit of the activities
and organization management of the client organization and preparation of asocial audit
report.
Activities Performed : Review of reports and documents, collection of secondary
data, generation of primary data through facilitation of focus group discussions/ semi-
structured dialogue with various stakeholder groups, observation of the meeting and
functioning of its member societies and head office ,one-to- one dialogue with senior
officials and Governing Board members, processing and analysis of data, preparation of
draft report, presentation of the draft report before the stakeholder groups , preparation
of final report by incorporating the inputs from the meetings and submission of the
report to the Client .

3.Project Name : Capacity Building Evaluation of Kerala Local Government Service
Delivery Project (KLGSDP),Government of Kerala.
Year : December 2016- May 2017
Location : Kerala, India
Client : World Bank and Project Management Unit of KLGSDP,Government of Kerala;
( Worked as Capacity Building Specialist. The study conducted by ICMR Management
Consulting Services Limited , Noida, India)
Main Project Features : Conduct Impact Evaluation study on one of the
components of the project-Capacity building support.
Activities Held: Consultation with State Project Management Unit Team and subject
expert for the finalization of study design, selection of samples and tools for data
collection/generation. Facilitation support for pre testing of schedules and checklist and
its finalization. Facilitation of a three day participatory training for the investigators and
supervisors on data collection/generation. Facilitation of 14 district level semi- structured
discussion and dialogue with Panchayat functionaries, capacity building accredited
training institutes and government departments. Provided guidance and support for
preparation of report. Facilitation support for state level stakeholders meeting to share
the outcomes of draft reports and inviting comments and suggestion for finalization of
reports.

4.Project Name : Participatory Self Evaluation of community development and
empowerment project of Good Shepherd Health Education Center (GSHEC) and
Content Analysis of New Project Area.
Year : July-October 2016
Location : Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India
Client: Karl Kaubel Stiftung (KKS) Germany and GSHEC Coimbatore, TamilNadu,
India
Main Project Features : Conduct a participatory self evaluation study of the
community development and empower project of GSHEC and facilitation of content
analysis and preparation of concept note and new project proposal.
Activities Held : Design self evaluation and Context Analysis Study plan and
relevant tools-checklist and schedules for data generation with stakeholders; Building

capacity of core team members of GSHEC for engaging in activities such as sampling,
preparation of tools, data generation process and procedures, its complication and
analysis. Conducting and facilitating of field level data generation process and focus
group discussion with various stakeholders; .Analysis and interpretation of data,
preparation of draft report, presentation of the report in stakeholders group meeting and
preparation of final self evaluation and context analysis report. Facilitation of preparation
of concept note and draft project proposal for new areas..

5.Project Name : Rapid assessment of Sexual harassment of women in work
places.
Year : 2013
Location : Kerala, India
Client : Partnership with PRIA, sponsored by ILO
Main Project Features : Preparation of a report by assessing instances of sexual
harassment of women in work places
Activities Performed: Generation of data through dialogue/discussion /focus group
discussion from various stakeholders and review of reports and documents,
,compilation and analysis of data, preparation and submission of the report to the client.


6.Project Name : National Field Verification Under PEAIS,(Kerala),
Year : 2013
Location: Kerala, India
Client : Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR),Government of India, New Delhi
Main Project Features : Performance assessment for identifying best performing
Panchayats in Kerala during the year 2012-2013.
Activities Performed: Coordinating focus group discussion with Panchayat
functionaries, semi structured discussion with other stakeholders, field visits and
observations, verification of records and reports, ocessing and analysis of data and
preparation of reports and success stories and submission of it to the client.

Program ;

I) “Combat Corruption in Clinical Drug Trials in Kerala” by JANANEETHI (Kerala);

iii) “ Monitoring Government Food Scheme for Vulnerable Women through Community
Participation and Action to create Transparent Government” by Centre for Advocacy
and Research, Karnataka.

Client : ( Partnership with PRIA), Transparency FUND (PTF) USA and Public
Affairs Center(PAC) ,Bangalore, India
Main Project Features : Evaluation of the status, process and the outcome
of the three projects with stakeholder participation.
Activities Performed: Data collection from secondary sources, preparation
of study design and data generation tools, generation of data from primary sources
using participatory methods, data complication and analysis, preparation of report and
submission to the client.

10.Project Name : Participatory Final Evaluation of Karunya Rural Community
Hospital and Outreach Health and Family Welfare Service Under PVOH-11,
Coimbatore,Tamil Nadu, India
Year : 1996-97
Location : Tamil Nadu, India
Client : (Partnership with PRIA), sponsored by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
(MoHFW) and IIMHR, Government of India and USAID

Main Project Features : Final evaluation of the project undertaken by Karunya
Rural Community Hospital as outreach health and family welfare service under PVOH-
II, with community participation.

Activities Performed: Preparation of study design and tools, data

participatory methods, complication and analysis of data, preparation of report and

11.Project Name : Participatory Final Evaluation of Support to PVOs in Raising an
Effective Cadre of Lay First Aiders for Increasing Availability of Primary Health Care in
Outreach Areas under PVO-II project.
Year : 1996-97
Location : Tamil Nadu, India
Client : (Partnership with PRIA), sponsored by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
(MoHFW) and IIMHR, Government of India and USAID
Main Project Features : Final evaluation of support to PVOs in raising an effective
cadre of Lay First Aiders for increasing availability of primary health care in outreach
areas under PVOH-II, with community participation.
Activities Performed: Preparation of study design and tools, data

12.Project Name : Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation the World Bank Funded
District Primary Education Programme (DPEP) of the Government of Kerala.

Client : Participatory Research In Asia (PRIA) ,New Delhi

Main Project Features : Monitoring and Evaluation of the level of the community
participation in the programme through establishment of Village Education Committees,
ensuring stakeholder participation at all levels.
Activities Performed: Preparation of study design and tools, data
collection from secondary sources, data generation from primary sources using
participatory methods, complication and analysis of data, preparation of report and
submission of it to the client

13.Project Name : Monitoring and Evaluating of 13 ,CAPART funded Projects such
as Low cost sanitary latrine projects (9 numbers) ; Low cost housing projects ( 2
numbers) and Agricultre nursery project (2 numbers)

Main Project Features : Evaluation of the process and outcome of the activities
implemented by the organization during 1992 and 1993 with community participation.

Activities Performed: Preparation of evaluation design and tools,

participatory methods, complication and analysis of data, preparation of report and
